Held on September 2,
2000 at Treetops at Paradise Park. |
|
The formal dinner featured
a luau buffet dinner at Treetops at Paradise Park. The
tables were elegantly decorated with coffee and candy
favors and red rose centerpieces. The room was filled
with black and gold balloons to add that touch of Tiger
Pride. And a memories table was set up with McKinley memoribilia.
Emcee, Kim McAllister, did an outstanding job of creating
fun and excitement with her candid humor and funny stories
from the past.
Entertainment was supplied
by our very own alumni. Erica Arrendondo (Yano) sang "We've
Only Just Begun," our graduation song. Kaui Borges
sang "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." And Kim McAllister,
Kaui Borges, Henry Kaanapu, and Ernie Valdez all performed
a hula to "Kauluwehi o ke kai."
Games were played and door
prizes were given away. And there was our very own reunion
hoss election to coincide with this year's elections.
